I spent 8 hours yesterday in Google Tag Manager and Facebook tying in all the tracking events I could find for My Listing. I then spent 30 minutes transforming my internal document into something that other ML users can hopefully use.
At the following Dropbox link you can download a PDF that explains the tracking implementation and also a Google Tag Manager JSON file which should mean that if you are using all the default settings for your installation of ML that you will start seeing events sent to both Facebook and Google Analytics.
With the exception of two events the tracking has been set against constant elements, such as button classes so it should work irrespective of the language version you are using.
If ML Devs want to take a copy modify and host it for their own means, that’s fine. The dropbox link will be live for a couple of weeks. I don’t grant anyone else a licence, or to post it outside this support forum because this is for paid supporters of the theme. I won’t post this in the Facebook Group but someone can and link to it here if they want to.
I can’t provide support on this tracking. I can’t guarantee it will work for you. Use a DEV server and a new GTM container and test it fully first. There are enough examples in the JSON for any code-hacker to work out how all this works.
Good luck and make money.
