I need some suggestion regarding wordpress deployment process? How can we push the code from staging to production? Consider a case where you have 2 environments: Production & staging where production has actual customer data and staging has dummy data.
You make some changes on staging server (updating page/blog or add new category) and now you want to push only these changes to reflect on production without impacting the production database. How will you do that considering you don’t know what files are being updated in backend?
SEO team did some changes to file xyz.php for onsite SEO on production site. You did some code changes on same file xyz.php on staging. Now, you want to push this file to production with new code but without impacting the SEO code present on production. How can we do that?
Any support document where it is explained very well about the deployment process in wordpress? How can we know the name of table for each kind of data like post, page, category, listing data, images etc.
Any free plugin, tool etc for same?
Thanks in advance
